Dr. Alison Gomes, Dentist at Northwood Family Dental Center

Dr. Alison Gomes – Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist

Alison grew up in Rhode Island and was inspired to become a dentist by her childhood orthodontist. She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine with honors from Tufts University. While at Tufts University, she won the award for Clinical Excellence in Oral Pathology and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Alison then went on to complete a residency in General Dentistry in Syracuse, NY, before beginning her dental practice.

After working alongside a pediatric dentist for three years, she decided to pursue training in pediatric dentistry. She completed her pediatric dental training at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA, where she was trained in providing comprehensive dental care to children – including those with special health care needs. Alison enjoys reading and spending time with her family and her dog Indiana.

Dr. Anthony Pasquale, Dentist at Northwood Family Dental Center

Dr. Anthony Pasquale – General & Cosmetic Dentist

Anthony grew up outside of Buffalo, NY, and discovered his passion for dentistry while shadowing his family dentist. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University in Boston, MA. For six years, Dr. Pasquale practiced dentistry at the Veterans Administration in Bath, NY, where his duties included serving veterans in assisted living facilities, as well as disabled and returning veterans.

Following his government service, Dr. Pasquale transitioned to private-practice dentistry, where he was an associate for a short time before he and his wife, Dr. Alison Gomes, acquired NFDC. Anthony enjoys being outdoors with his dog Indiana.

Maegan, Dental Office Manager at Northwood Family Dental Center

Maegan – Office Manager

Maegan has been a dental administrator for over 10 years. She enjoys working directly with patients to make their experience comfortable and positive through her dental knowledge. She has been with the Northwood team since 2015. When not working, she enjoys various outdoor activities, spending time with her family, friends, and animals.

Maddy – Patient Services

Maddy joined Northwood Family Dental Center in 2020 and holds a position at the front desk, working directly with patients to schedule and create treatment plans. Maddy enjoys establishing new patients to help them make a comfortable and easy transition to our office. Outside of work, you can find Maddy reading, practicing art and calligraphy, doing yoga, and spending time with family, friends, and fur babies, Chips and Queso.

KT, Registered Dental Hygienist at Northwood Family Dental Center

Karen, AKA “KT” – Registered Dental Hygienist

Karen has been a registered dental hygienist since 1991. She attended Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA, where she studied dental hygiene and received her Associate of Science degree. In her tenure as a full-time hygienist, she continued to take postgraduate training in administration and monitoring of nitrous oxide, administration of local anesthesia, and orthodontic assisting. She has enjoyed 22 years of caring for the Northwood community and surrounding towns, and looks forward to the many years to come of working with patients and continuing to form relationships. Karen enjoys reading and experiencing all of the outdoor activities NH has to offer with her husband, Neil, and family.

Julie – Registered Dental Hygienist

Julie has been involved in the dental field for more than 25 years. She went to NHTI for dental assisting only to later return to complete the dental hygiene program in 1999. Julie went right to work in periodontal dentistry. Eleven years ago, Julie made a change and joined us at Northwood Family Dental Center. She has thoroughly enjoyed the dynamics of a family practice. She loves working with all ages and getting to know the families. Julie loves being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her husband and son.

Natasha - Registered Dental Hygienist

Natasha graduated from NHTI in 2009 with her Certificate in Dental Assisting, where she had the opportunity to assist in general dentistry and periodontal surgery. She later returned to NHTI to further her education in dental hygiene, and graduated in 2016 as a registered dental hygienist. As a licensed hygienist, she can administer local anesthesia as well as nitrous oxide. Shortly after gaining her license, Natasha began working at Northwood Family Dental Center part time, and became a full-time hygienist in 2019. Outside of work, you can find her in the garden – she has a true green thumb and is always working on expanding her flower and vegetable gardens. She’s obsessed with spending time with her two girls, enjoys fishing, and vacationing in York, ME.

Nicole – Certified Dental Assistant

Nicole grew up in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. Her desire to work in healthcare lead her to attend Seacoast Career Schools, where she received her Certificate in Dental Assisting. After three years of working in her rewarding career, she became a certified dental assistant through the Dental Assisting National Board. For most of her dental assisting career, Nicole has worked in pediatrics. Nicole’s patience and caring nature allows her to help children overcome their fear of the dentist. Nicole loves to travel, and enjoys sunset-chasing motorcycle rides with her husband.

Lisa – Certified Dental Assistant

Lisa has a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health and Associate degrees in General and Paralegal Studies. She became a certified dental assistant in 2008, and joined the Northwood Family Dental Center team in 2019. She is very happy to see patients smile, and looks forward to meeting and helping our patients. When Lisa is not at the office, you will find her at the ocean, enjoying time with her two sons and fur babies, or working part time as a realtor.

Jyll – Certified Dental Assistant

Jyll is a 2001 certified dental assistant graduate from NHTI. She is passionate about patient care, and truly loves restoring smiles and confidence through dentistry. In her time away from work, Jyll enjoys baking, the outdoors, and spending time with her husband, children, and friends.
